Electing George Manneh Oppong Weah as President of Liberia is Like Given a Mad Man a Loaded Gun: 7 Reasons Why Liberians Should not elect Oppong as President of Liberia.

According to Albert Einstein “The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.”

I believe in given man his flower while he is alive because when he is gone, it’s all history. George Manneh Oppong Weah is one of the world’s greatest football player. During Madam Sirleaf and Charles Taylor’s terror on Liberia, the story of Weah’s football success was the only positive image of Liberia. When Sawyer’s government of National Unity failed to support the Liberian national team Weah, James ‘Salinsa’ Debbah and other Liberian international football stars, stepped in and uplifted Liberia. Thank you, guys!

As the result of Weah’s success in the football field, many youths of my generation idolized him. He became one of the well-respected Liberian citizens both locally and internationally. Given his popularity among Liberians, notably, the youth population, in 2005, political opportunists recruited him to run for president thus, given birth to the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) political party.

But, sadly, Oppong’s political records have proven to be a complete nightmare for Liberian war victims. The below seven points provide definitive reasons why given George Manneh Oppong Weah the presidency of Liberia would be like given a madman a loaded gun and foolishly expecting him not to kill you!

The Seven Reasons Why Oppong Should Not Be Elected As President of Liberia

1.Selfish Politician

You can tell a lot about a person by the type of friends they hang out with. Senator Jewel Howard Taylor and Oppong’s unholy political marriage speaks a volume about the nature of person Oppong is. Moreover more, Oppong’s latest political marriage with the notorious killer Prince Johnson is a confirmation that Oppong is not interested in genuine peace, reconciliation, and development in Liberia.

The political marriage of Jewel Howard Taylor, Prince John, and Oppong Weah brings to mind the painful memory of the 1990s and early 2000s. Why Liberian war victims are lobbying the international community and Liberian institutions to ensure accountability for the 14 years terror, Oppong is selfishly building alliances with accused war and economic criminals and the former wife of a convicted war criminal to advance his selfish presidential ambition. If Oppong were to become president, would Liberian war victims ever see justice?

Oppong is an extremely selfish and dangerous political figure who would stop at nothing when it comes to his presidential aspiration. In 2011 when Madam Sirleaf police recklessly opened fire at the CDC headquarters, killed and wounded several CDC supporters during the elections, conscientious Liberians and friends of Liberia including myself, quickly mobilized and staged a protest on 16th St. North West Washington DC adjacent the Liberian embassy, in Washington, DC.

While we were brazing the cold fall wheatear chanting “ down with the criminal enterprise in Liberia,” demanding justice, Oppong, and his political partner at that time, Winston Tubman was wining and dining with Madam Sirleaf in Monrovia under the guise of” smoking the so-called peace pipe” with an ulterior motive.

A few days later after meeting with Madam Sirleaf, Oppong came on the air and announced that he would not participate in the round off elections in the interest of peace and that he would accept the outcome. Oppong did not even have the courtesy to recognize our struggle in support of the poor CDC youths that were brutally gunned down, killed or wounded by Sirleaf untrained police forces. What was most important to Oppong was receiving a bribe and paving his way for the next election. In short, “playing safe!”

For Oppong, those innocent Liberians who idolized him and came out in mass to support him, are just his cash cow. A tool to gain his political prominence in Liberia. How can we trust such a selfish man with the presidency of our beloved country? Is he not going to mortgage our beloved country too? If he cares less about youths killed on his behalf, how about a whole country? Would he not care less about Liberia too?

Ignorant and unwillingness to learn and improve

Throughout his more than 13-year political career, Oppong has consistently proven to be dangerously ignorant of the historical, social, psychological, philosophical and economic complexities of Liberia. For instance, I had the opportunity to briefly meet Oppong in person in building 140 Parkhill Avenue on Staten Island in 2010, together with several of his supporters. When I tried to engage him in an intelligent conversation regarding the Liberian Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) report, he abruptly dismissed the conversation. He told me that the TRC report was a scheme designed by the “Congo people” to punish the native boys. I asked him “ who are the native boys.” He replied, “ our native boys that were fighting their war.” In response, I told him; “ don’t you know that I am from the Dahn ( Gio) ethnic group from Zoe Geh district, Nimba County, where most of Taylor’s notorious National Patriotic Front of Liberia (NPFL) so-called special forces come from? I will not be stupid to destroy my brothers. The TRC recommendation is not about punishing native boys, but rather punishing Madam Sirleaf; Sawyer, including all those who patronized the war and has the potential to make future wars on Liberia. Second, for our brothers who choose to commit heinous crimes will equally pay for their crimes as a deterrence to future violence in our beloved country.” One of his aids replied “ so you want to punish all our supporters? The Ambassador is busy now, end of the conversation!”

Oppong’s twisted view of the TRC recommendations is the product of negligence on his part for not making time to study this very crucial historical document. Oppong, like many so-called Liberian intellectuals who are vocally against the implementation of the TRC recommendations, has not fully studied the document. Their only source of information is sound bites from morally bankrupt educated fools like Varney Sherman, the man who was caught on a type shamefully selling Liberian diplomatic credentials to a foreigner. The self-proclaimed legal scholar of Liberia who told TLC Africa, an online Liberian magazine that the “ TRC Report Is Too Ambitious and Irrelevant ” to the peace process.

Wilson Tarpeh, another self-proclaimed economist who served as finance minister during the corrupt Sawyer Government of National Unity (IGNU), which printed millions of Liberian dollars “ liberty” without accountability. If Wilson Tarpeh doubts me, let him and Sawyer tell us how many liberty was printed and circulated on the Liberian market during the IGNU years. I am not referring to rush talking, but a substantive explanation backed by credible invoices from the money printing company. This is an open challenge to Wilson Tarpeh, who I predict would be the finance minister or governor of the national bank of Liberia and Sawyer. I have researched and have the full record of the money printing company.

Oppong’s inherent lack of discipline and unwillingness to learn and cultivate his own opinion on critical historical, national security, and economic issues facing Liberia makes him susceptible to manipulation by political vultures like Wilson Tarpeh and others. This makes Oppong more dangerous to the Presidency of Liberia than a hydrogen bomb.

Permit me to walk you down memory lane, after April 12, 1980, military coup, Stg. Samuel Doe, from the Kahn ethnic group, became head of State and Commander in Chief of the Arm Forces of Liberia, all the so-called Krahn intellectuals who distance themselves from the Krahn native people during the True Whig Party (TWP)’s glorious days, immediately became Krahn overnight and built an impenetrable wall around President Doe.

Heading the parks was John G. Rancy, Pro Tempore of the Senate of Liberia from 1986-1989. Due to President Doe’s intellectual limitation, John G. Rancy wrote a memo to Doe recommending the elimination of Nimbians from the government because he claimed that “the people from Nimba are over-ambitious .” I am a proud, ambitious son of Nimba, from Butuo, does that makes me an evil person? Former President Doe’s submitted to John Rancy’s cheap propaganda, soon, General Thomas G. Quawonkpa would be demoted from the position of Commanding General of the Army to Secretary-General of the People’s Redemption Council(PRC).

Political opportunist Madam Sirleaf and other TWP remanence capitalized on Doe’s limitation, manipulated and illicitly took advantage of Quawonkpa and Nimbians in exile. Consequently, our beloved country was engulfed in 14 years of a senseless bloodbath masterminded by Madam Sirleaf and her cohorts. If Sirleaf and other NPFL patrons object to my scientific analysis and accusation, I challenge them to immediately establish the TRC recommended war crimes court, to provide me an opportunity to legally proof my case, until then, they are common war and economic criminals who deserve be behind bars like Taylor.

Do we want another Doe lackey scenario? Do you want another Doe scenario where Wilson Tarpeh and other political demagogues around Oppong to instruct him to eliminate his critics? A half-educated man is an insured irrational political beast. What does Oppong stand for? What are his positions on the complex issues facing our cherished country today? He runs from debates because of his lack of knowledge and understanding of the complex problems facing our adored nation. How can you have a very serious life and death decision making process without substantive debates over these critical issues? To Oppong supporters, what do you guys take Liberia for? Do you guys think Liberia is garbage that any Dick, Tom, or Harries can pop up and become president like the days of the 1990s? I fundamentally disagree!

Liberians have danced to the rhythm of this cruel music before, and it has left us with a painful memory of great loss and despair.

The Ghost of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Cruelty Hunting Vice President Joseph Boakai’s Candidacy

We must not allow our anti-Sirleaf emotions to deceive us. Although Joseph Boakai has been a devoted member of the criminal regime for 12 years, but by Oppong’s intellectual limitation, lack of understanding about the complexities of issues facing Liberia, his refusal to support the TRC and political marriage to accused war criminals like Prince Johnson, Mrs. Taylor, and Madam Sirleaf makes Oppong more dangerous to our peace and safety than old man Joseph Boakai, who appears to be temperamentally stable and morally sound than Oppong Weah.

Please do not be deceived by the pressure of the moment. Oppong’s willfully collaborated with Sirleaf for 12 unbroken years on the promised that he would succeed Madam Sirleaf as President of Liberia. Therefore, he was strategically ” playing safe.” He did not want to rock the boat! He opposes any protest against the criminal enterprise! This is the fundamental reason why Madam Sirleaf has been reluctant to vigorously support her loyal Vice President. Honestly speaking, Madam Sirleaf thought she was hurting Vice President Joseph Boakai, but considering Madam Sirleaf’s unpopularity with the Liberian society, it turns out to be the greatest gift that she had ever given Joseph Boakai.

3. Oppong Support for the Illegal Arrest, Torture, and Detention of 19 Innocent Grand Gedeh Citizens

When Leymah Gbowee resigned as head of Madam Sirleaf’s so-called Peace Commission in October of 2012 due to our consistent advocacy and pressure in the international arena against corruption and impunity in Liberia, Oppong was appointed as the head of the so-called Peace Commission. One thought Oppong was going to use this opportunity to learn from the experts and solidified the peace. However, instead of consulting with the TRC commissioners and war victim’s advocates, Oppong surrounded himself with the anti-war crime’s court gangs.

Consequently, Oppong traveled around the country feasting and drinking under the guise of peacemaking. How can you address a problem without understanding the cause of the problem? During this period, Madam Sirleaf arrested 19 citizens of Grand Gedeh County, tortured and illegally imprisoned them for several years before trial.

Oppong was again “playing safe” and did nothing. For Grand Gedeh county, Oppong is not your guy! Your friends are those who come to your aid when you are in distress. In 2013, when we were protesting against impunity, corruption and the illegal arrest and detention of our fellow citizens from Grand Gedeh county at the UN in New York, Oppong’s CDC USA officials headed by its Chairman were propagating fake news insinuating that the protest leaders had received bribes from the Sirleaf government to cancel the protest. As God would have it, we made it safely to the protest and had a successful event with maximum impact. The evil deigns to derail our legitimate protest for democratic change was aborted.

Hence, fellow Liberians from Grand Gedeh, please do not allow your anti-Sirleaf sentiments to blind you. Oppong is not your guy, but a covert Sirleaf supporter throughout Sirleaf 12 years of anti-Grand Gedeh citizen’s policy. Please take a deep breath and ask yourself a question, what did Oppong do, when your sons were illegally arrested and tortured? Can someone from Grand Gedeh ask Oppong this crucial question?

Incompetence and unwillingness to learn

Since Oppong’s election as Senior Senator of Montserrado County, can anyone point to a bill that he has written, sponsored and successfully passed into law? Besides the old spider corruption story, what is Oppong’s economic plan for Liberia? Is he waiting on Wilson Tarpeh who secretly printed money along with Sawyer without accountability to design his economic plan? What is Oppong’s plan for the rehabilitation of our wounded veterans? What are his plans for the reconstruction of Liberia? How does Oppong plan to manage our maritime registry? How about youth development? Our education and healthcare system? He has none, reasons for which he runs from debates.

Oppong’s public records as head of the Sirleaf pseudo-Peace Commission, record as Senior Senator of Montserrado, and record as manager of our football team, the Lone Star, show that Oppong lacks the common sense and intellectual latitude to handle these complex problems facing our beloved nation. I am not suggesting that Oppong must know everything, it is not possible for anyone to be an expert in every area, but one of the key characteristics of a leader is a vision. The leader sets the vision, which the followers follow. The technocrats or experts narrow down the vision into a policy document and later technical paper for implementation. Hence, what is Oppong,’s vision for Liberia? If he has one, why is he running form debates? Let us not be fooled by the anti-Sirleaf sentiments and mortgage our beloved country to a dumb child who refuses to learn and reform!

Tyrannical Inclination

During Oppong’s years as manager of our national team, the Lone Star, he was reportedly engaged in practicing petty reprisal against any player who refuses to follow his marching orders. For this reason, a group of former Lone Star players comprising Dionysius Sebwe, Boy Charles, Ezekieh Doe, Papee Sumo, Pewu Bestman, Kelvin Sebwe, Ben Saydee and others dumped Oppong and elected to support Vice President Joseph Boakai over their peer (6). Does this mean that these patriotic Liberian football heroes are jealous or they patriotically choose the supreme interest of Liberia over their selfish economic interest(s)? In my view, these former Lone Star legends are true patriots of Liberia!

Oppong’s tyrannical inclination is reminiscent of Charles Taylor and Samuel Doe. Oppong’s tyrannical inclination is more dangerous to our young democracy than Oldman Boakai, who collaborated with the devil for 12 years. Oppong’s tyrannical inclination would lead us into another brutal civil war because no Liberian is willing to tolerate another tyrant in Liberia. Therefore, fellow Liberians, in the supreme interest of our beloved country, vote VP Boakai, who seems to be more rational and stable than the unstable political hustler.

6 Morally Bankrupt and Unnatural Sexual Inclination

According to J.K. Rowling, “If you want to see the true measure of a man, watch how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.”

Oppong tends to disrespect his inferiors by sleeping with their spouses. Many of the young players kept their beautiful girlfriends and waves away from his presence. “When he fails to get your girlfriend or wife, he would attempt to mess with you too.” One of the young players told me in 2011. These are some of the reasons; his peers have resounding rejected his candidacy.

It is reported that Oppong is a homosexual. He sleeps with men. Is this morally decaying individual you want to become your president? When Oppong’s homosexuality is challenged, his loyalist often makes cheap excuses such as “ who married a man in Liberia that does not mess with other people.” It sounds like CDC is has been transformed into a gay advocacy movement in Liberia.

Don’t you know that the family is the foundation of every society? How can we trust such a morally bankrupt man with the highest office in our land? Are we stupid? Are we Liberian stupid to elect such a reckless, promiscuous beast with an unnatural sexual tendency to the highest office of the land?

Electing Oppong would be like given him and his gangs a license to transform our school-age girls and boys into prostitutes. If you want your school-age boys and girls to be indoctrinated into homosexuality, then, elect Oppong. If not, deny him the presidency by voting VP Joseph Bookie.

We don’t want such a man to run our country. The culture of homosexuality is foreign to our beloved country; as a culturally conservative society, we must maintain our cultural heritage and values. This is not Hilary Clinton State Department where U.S. aid was tied to gay rights. Even if, Hilary was President, we will resist any attempt by a foreign power to destroy our culture.

Here in the U.S, the culture war is heating up! The fake news media is fighting President Trump because of his position on this critical cultural issues. I am not against the guy and lesbian community; I believe in freedom to choose who to love but, I disagree with the redefinition of marriage for political correctness. If you want to sleep with a beast, please go on and do it in the privacy of your home, but please do not force me to accept your lifestyle. By giving Oppong the presidency, we would be endorsing his foreign homosexual practices. We want to populate our country; the homosexual relationship cannot produce children. It is the easy road to the death of our generation! We must reject Oppong and his homosexual practices.

Oppong Lacks Practical Understanding of the Complexity of Problems Facing Liberia

During each election period in Liberia, we often hear politicians talking about how the incumbents are corrupt and how they would end corruption, but when they are given powers, they steal more than the previous government officials. Consider the salaries of the useless Liberian lawmakers, is it just for Liberian civil servants to make unlivable wages while the do-nothing law markers make an average of $17,000.00 salaries per month, excluding other benefits including housing? Does it not burden your conscience to see our teachers and police officers making on the average of $100 per month, while ministers take home thousands?

Ellen, Sayer ward and the rest of the old order who are currently suppressing our people hypocritically spoke against the same corruption in our society but did nothing about it when given the opportunity to change the deplorable conditions of our people. What makes you think that Oppong Weah who has been benefiting from the same immoral, corrupt system as Senior Senator of Montserrado county is capable of changing the conditions of our people? Does he understand the complexity of the problem?

Based on Oppong Weah’s political and social records, Weah is remotely knowledgeable of the complexities of problems facing our beloved country. Haven had the privilege to fully read and analyze the text on the CDC so-called campaign web page(7) and rigorously studied Oppong’s capricious campaign speeches, I have come to the conclusion that neither the CDC flag bearer George Oppong Weah or the CDC strategist have an understanding of the causes of the cardinal problem facing Liberia. I find CDC to be an association of political hustlers.

To that end, the analysis of the culture of impunity in Liberia demonstrates that the fundamental problem facing Liberia is not based a particular political party or civil society organizations, nor human rights or political activism, but rather a systemic and structural one.

Liberia as a nation has a constitution and government modeled on that of the United States, but unfortunately, successive Liberian leaders have consistently refused to abide by the rule of law and the principles of good governance and democracy. Hence, the cancerous problem facing pre and post-war Liberia is the culture of impunity and the lack of will on the part of previous and present governments to implement needed structural reforms in the general interests of the public.

Liberia is a nation of paradox, unlike the United States where there are a check and balance system to ensure accountability on the part of all citizens irrespective of social and political persuasions, Liberia has none. Although 99% of Liberian past and present leaders are products of some of the most prestigious academic institutions in the world, i.e., Harvard University, they willfully refused to uphold ethical and judicious practices, and implement ethical business principles according to industry standards.

George Oppong Weah has proven herself a fraud who has built a long and troubling political career on falsehood, moral corruption, homosexuality, and pedophilia. This troublesome pattern was developed for gaining the Liberian presidency while at the same time riding on the football legend fame. Consequently, the question of accountability for the horrific Liberian civil war must not be taken lightly. If Liberia is to move forward, Oppong’s allies like his prospective Vice President Jewel Cianeh Howard Taylor, Prince Johnson, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and others indicted by the TRC report(8), must account for their role in the demise of Liberia and the current economic crimes taken place in Liberia.

If Oppong is a wise man who professed to be innocent of war crimes, then, why is he in a political marriage with people who have been indicted for war crimes and crimes against humanity by a statutory body (9)? Don’t he think that the TRC recommendations will be implemented as part of the full implementation of the 2003 Comprehensive Peace Agreement(10)? OH! Oppong Weah has a problem with reading; perhaps he has not even read the first page of the document.

“The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it..” Albert Einstein.

Since 2005, I have fought in the tranches against Madam Sirleaf UP party policies. I am a veteran of this war. I have sustained many wounds on the battlefield and survived. I don’t believe in the cowardice tendency of “playing safe.” I express myself as it is. I do not believe in political correctness. As a result, I have crossed path with many of the “play safe” activists.

I survived the July 1990 St. Peter Lutheran Church massacre with a slight bullet injury to my head; I was short several times below my right knee in October of 1994, I survived the April 6, 1996 mayhem on Monrovia. As a result of the severe injury to my leg, I am currently living with excruciating pain on a daily basis. And whenever I feel the tingling in my leg, I am reminded of my mission here. I believe God preserved my soul to become the voice of the voiceless, the voice of the Liberian war victims who have been suppressed for many years by people like Oppong and Madam Sirleaf.

As a war survival, the question of accountability for the destruction of Liberia is my calling. I believe, Liberia cannot move forward, until true peace and reconciliation are restored. True peace and reconciliation can be accomplished in the absence of accountability. That is the reason for which the 2003 comprehensive peace accord demanded accountability to serve as deterrence.

Characters like Oppong, Prince Johnson, and others who destroyed and pillaged our country will continue to run the affairs of Liberia while Liberian war victims await eagerly for justice. The surest way to obtaining sustainable peace and development in Liberia is the full implementation of the 2003 peace accord.

Fellow Liberians, Oppong, candidacy for president is a curse and not a blessing to Liberia. If we make the same mistake of 1997; “ you killed my ma, you killed my pa, I will vote for you,” we will have ourselves to be blamed? Vote VP Boakia over this massive insanity called, Oppong!

I understand the ghost of Madam Sirleaf legacy is hunting VP Boakai, but remember, Oppong is no good either. “The true measure of a man is what he would do if he knew he would never be caught,” Lord Kelvin.

Given the above analysis, the election is a secret ballot, but remember as you cast your vote, that given George Manneh Oppong Weah the Presidency of Liberia is Like Given a Mad Man a Loaded Gun and expect him not to kill you. The Character of Oppong is not the example we wish for our children! God bless Liberia!

About the Author

Jacob D. Massaquoi, II is a Liberian war victim, an author, geopolitical analyst and human rights, defender. He is the founder of Concerned Liberians Against Corruption and Impunity (CLACI), the organization that organizes consisted protest against Madam Sirleaf regime’s policies each year at the UN during the UN General Assembly since 2013. He has a new book entitled; “ Fake News: Walking in the Shoes of White America.” He is a doctoral candidate in computer science with a concentration in cybersecurity.

The patrons of the Liberian genocidal war have covertly aligned with morally bankrupt leaders of Liberian organizations both in the diaspora and at home with the malicious intent and purpose to distract and deceive the Liberian public and friends of Liberia on the overall objectives of the Liberian Truth and Reconciliation (TRC) process  and the application of the TRC Commissioner’s report  in relation to the achievement of lasting peace in Liberia. The purpose of this article is to unmask the wolf in sheep’s clothing while defending the general interests of Liberian war victims.

Unmasking the Union of Liberian Association in the Americas (ULAA) diabolical scam against Liberian war victims.

Emmanuel Wetee, former President of ULAA and his so-called  ULAA  dual citizenship campaign is a fraud designed to undermine Liberian war victims genuine campaign for the full implementation of the 2003 Comprehensive Peace Accord (CPA), which was transformed into law called the ” The TRC Act of 2005.

In summary, in the interests of peace, several provisions in the Liberian constitution were abrogated to accommodate the war-lords and their patrons who destroyed our beloved country during the course of the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Charles Taylor’s genocidal war.

Now, when it comes to the fulfillment of the war patrons obligations to Liberian war victims and the Liberian people under the same peace agreement which brought them into power, they politicize, philosophize, analyze, elaborate and propagate erroneously flawed legal, political, moral and spiritual arguments against the implementation of the TRC recommendations.

Consequently, no one has been held accountable for the fourteen years of carnage and barbarism in Liberia. Make no mistake, no one has a monopoly over violence, neither anyone one is more Liberian than another. The continued failures of successive Liberian governments to implement the TRC  recommendations as contained in the Final TRC Report of 2009 create an atmosphere of chaos and undermine the peace and security of Liberia and the sub-region.

Do not take our patience for weakness, neither our attempt to pursue a peaceful resolution to our painful history as a surrounder to impunity. We are neither fools or ignorant to know that the deliberate intransigence and arrogant failures of successive Liberian governments to implement the CPA is a well-orchestrated plan by Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and partners in crimes who masterminded the destruction of our beloved country to permanently ensepulcher the horrendous crimes perpetrated against Liberia,  humanity, including economic crimes.

Many leaders of Liberian organizations in the diaspora and at home have also aided and abetted the gross abuse and provocations against Liberian war victims. Emmanuel Wetee and his so-called ULAA dual citizenship campaign are one of the diabolical wolves stealthily disguised in the color of an advocate but historically, the ULAA team overtly and covertly cooperated with Ellen in the formation and execution of the NPFL genocide war. In 2005,  Convicted war criminal Thomas Woewiyu exposed ULAA’s role in the destruction of Liberia in a letter to Ellen Johnson.

Instead of working concertedly with Liberian  war victim groups to pressure Ellen  Johnson Sirleaf criminal enterprise which is holding our people hostage in Liberia, this clown and his ULAA partners like Anthony Kessely  deliberately colluded with Ellen in an effort  to divert diaspora Liberians from the actual issues preventing constitutional reform to confront antiquity in the Liberia laws to meet present challenges as enshrined in the 2003 CPA.

Some of these present challenges include the question of the citizenship of Liberian diaspora who have obtained citizenships in their respective homes of refuge; term limit for elected public officials; the ten-year residency clause in the current Liberian constitution; among others.

Fellow Liberians and friends of Liberia, our patience is running out. We can not continue to wait while less than 500 people in the population of over 4 million deliberately circumvent the law, legal agreements, and international treaties in the advancement of their selfish political ambitions.

Fellow Liberians, make no mistake, freedom is not cheap. Let us not wait until things get out of hand before we take action. The Liberian people are not stupid, neither crazy nor ignorant,  the war patrons have taken advantage of Liberian generosity and willingness to forgive for granted. One can not grant forgiveness in the absence of repentance. Forgiveness and repentance are complimentary, one can not exist without the other.

For years, the corrupt men of God like Bishop Innis of the Liberian Council of Churches and other so-called men and women of gods have deceived the Liberia masses with the foolish philosophy of ” let-bad-gone-be-bad-gone.” The philosophy of empty forgiveness without accountability is “blanket amnesty,” which has emboldened the murderer and corrupt beast like Prince Y. Johnson of Nimba country.

Fellow Liberians, if Liberia is to move forward in the 21st century and become a great nation, we must confront our painful history. There is no other way around the question of accountability for Liberian war victims and the massive economic crimes being perpetrated against Liberia and the people of Liberia today.

For my brothers and sisters from Nimba and Grand Gedeh who are concern about the TRC implementation, may I state that I  am a proud son of Nimba, I will not participate in any effort the would undermine our country and Nimba, or hurt my brothers and sisters. Therefore, the question of justice is not limited to war crimes court, but include the palava hut intervention mechanism advanced in the TRC recommendations, which I strongly support.

To former special forces of the NPFL and every one who may have participated in the war in some ways, accountability for the war will put war profiteers like Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and partners in crime who orchestrated the NPFL genocidal war on Liberia out of business forever. You do not have the financial capacity to purchase AK-47, RPG, GMG, BZT, etc.  Essentially,   the NPFL war planners strategically planted the seed of discord amongst members of the leadership of the  People’s Redemption Council (PRC), with a devastating outcome that produced a horrendous purged within the PRC and ethnic cleansing of Gios, Minos, Krahn,  and Mandingos across Liberia.

As an enlightened son of Nimba, I am fully aware of how we were manipulated and made to eliminate our elders, scholars, and technocrats including our brothers and sisters from Grand Gedeh county as well as our Mandigo brothers in Nimba and across Liberia in cold blood at the behest of Taylor and Ellen.

Walking down memory lane, at NPFL checkpoints, who did the NPFL thugs arrested, tortured and murdered? Wich tribes did the NPFL eliminated? Was it Congo, Kru , Krah or Mandingo? Was the NPFL looking for Kpelleh, Bassa, etc? The planners of the NPFL war knew that by selectively eliminating Krahn and Mandingos, it would permanently plan the seed of animosity between the sons and daughters of Gios and Minos on the one hand and  Krhan and Mandingos on the other hand.

Consequently, we became double victims. During the early 1990s, no one wanted to rent a house to anyone from the  Krahn, Mandingo, Gio, and Mino tribes in Monrovia, but the rest of the other tribes had no problem finding a place to rent. I am a living witness!

Brothers and sisters. after a deep analysis, you will find out that we were manipulated, programmed  like an Android and used by Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and her partners in crime in an effort to advance their diabolical political agendas. After 12 years of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf’s failed and criminal rule,  one can safely conclude that the NPFL war was about economics and not about reform or the advancement of Liberia.

Knowing what we know now,  as sons and daughters of Nimba, Grand Gedeh, Mandingo and anyone who may have participated in the war, we should not be afraid of the implementation of the TRC recommendations.  We are double victims. The proposed war and economic crimes court would provide us with an opportunity to hold our abusers accountable before a competent court of law.  The court will also provide an opportunity for victims to seek redress.

Therefore, I am urging all patriotic Liberians to not fall for the Sirleaf scam that the TRC  report was designed to punish  the sons and daughters of Nimba and Grand Gedeh including child soldiers. Ellen must understand that many of our relatives and immediate family members joined the war project either for personal protection or in defense of their kinsmen.

Make no mistake,  we are aware of fair weather advocates who have been planted by Ellen and her partners in crimes within the ranks of the war and economic crimes court campaigners to distort the primary objectives of the TRC  and create fear on the minds of our brothers and sisters from Nimba and Grand Gedeh. This evil plan only benefits the perpetrators and not the victims.

Walking down memory lane, the people of Grand Gedeh and Nimba suffered the most, we lost an unaccountable number of young men and women to the NPFL genocidal war, therefore, anyone who advocates for blanket justice outside international laws and against the spirit of the TRC process is not working in the interests of Liberian war victims but in the interest of Ellen and her gangs of perpetrators.

Many Liberians have no idea on what it feels like to be prosecuted in your own country of birth because of your ethnic background. The Gios, Minos, Krhan, and Mandingo, can relate to what I am trying to explain in a simple text. But,  it was a traumatic nightmare,  I too had to use a pseudo name on the morning following the St. Peter Lutheran Church massacre on July 29, 1990 for survival.

The people of Nimba and Grand Gedeh ( Mandingo, Krhan, Gio, and Mino) will not accept any war crimes court that does not take into consideration the context of the war, the social exclusion by the rest of the ethnic groups that drove young men and women from Nimba and Grand Gedeh into war, and the massive loss of lives we suffered during the course of the war.

I knew from early on that some disgruntled elements in the so-called Liberian human rights community will  collude with perpetrators who masterminded the massacre of our people in an effort to distort the patriotic motive of the Liberian peace process.

Make no mistake,  we are aware that the primary objective of Ellen and Taylor’s  NPFL for  using  Nimba citizens in the elimination of fellow Nimba intellectuals, technocrats and other politically and socially astute Liberian indigenes was to divide,  conquer and  Eliminate any potential indigene political opponents.  Evidentially, if Honorable Jackson F. Doe or  Honorable Gabriel Kpoleh were alive today, the presidential dream of Taylor and Ellen would have died in the rubbish bins of history.

In the same token,  the planners of the NPFL terror have surfaced in the administration of the dumbbell George Weah CDC “pro-crooked” government and instructing him on how to lead our beloved country. Imagine, hiring an arsonist to put off a fire he or she started. How can George Weah lead our country from the current state of social, political, and economic decadence into a nation based on the rule of law, accountability, and sustainable development when he is in the council of the same perpetrators who destroyed our beloved country. To better state,  Weah is incapable of addressing the question of peace and reconciliation because he is beholding to the patrons of the genocidal war.

Fellow Liberians and friends of Liberia, make no mistake,  the so-called ULAA dual citizenship campaign is a distraction and part of a  comprehensive campaign by Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and her partners in crime to distract Liberians from the actual problem facing our people. Dual citizenship has never been our problem, and should not be our problem today. The just implementation of the TRC recommendations will ensure justice for Liberians at all levels; political, social, economic; environmental; ethnic among others.

The treasonous delay on the part the Weah government in the implementation of the TRC report does not promote peace, reconciliation and national development, but a menu for war and further destruction of our beloved country. We will not fall prey to the evil trap but remain resolute in our determination to force the Weah government to meet its obligations under the 2003 Comprehensive Peace Agreements. Any war would provide a  pretext for the criminals to destroy all documentations relating to Sirleaf 12 year criminal rule and her political godson Weah’s CDC criminality.

We will remain focus on a nonviolent path because we believe in the victory of good over evil. No amount of ethnic division or temptation will make us employ violence in pursuit of our ultimate goal of securing justice and accountability for the Ellen and Taylor 14 year barbaric war.

Down with the useless ULAA and all its leaders of job seekers. Liberian war victims shall overcome the temptation of the moment and justice shall very soon take the front and center of the Liberian political discuss.

May the Lord God Almighty bless Liberia.

Government position is an opportunity to voluntarily and honorably serve your compatriots and not a vehicle for instant wealth accumulation… Jacob massaquoi 2018.

Everyone is a cheat until you are caught,  than suddenly everyone seems to hypocritically demonize you. Huma, you are an inspiration to many like myself who  believe  marriage means standing by your partner in both good and bad times.

Your Support to Tony during this challenging times demonstrates true love. Moreover, what one  does with his /her free time has nothing to do with the multitude of problems facing the city of New York. The cowardice attacks on Comrade Anthony Weiner’s humanity is a distraction and a demonstration that many of his opponents are unfit to challenge him  on the  table of serious intellectual debate.  If  his Democratic opponents  feel he is unqualified because of  sending  scandalous text messages, let them  challenge Tony  to a debate but not through surrogate journalists.  We need people who are serious about addressing  the multitude of problems  facing New York city and not  political pundits.  Go! Tony Go!

Fellow New Yonkers,  do not let the worthless 24 hours news media  define your humanity. Comrade Weiner  is an awesome man. I am inspired by his courage and tenacity to fight for what he believes and not cave in to television pundits!

Huma must remember  the story of Bill and Hillary Clinton in the early 1990s when the Republicans and Ultra-feminism  mounted unabated attacks against Hillary with  the explicit goal of destroying Bill’s presidency and political career,  but Hillary stood by Bill. Consequently, they survived and today, they are the most admired couples in the political sphere.

What I am trying to say here, Huma congratulations for standing  with Anthony.  He is a fighter and he will survive the test of time and become victorious.  “Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom”- General George Patton, Jr.

Go! Tony Go!

You have inspired many!

Unmasking Joe Gbaba, RW Chea, & Thomas Toteh Falsehood & Mischief

Liberian War Victims and Friends of Liberia:

I bring you greetings in the name of the most high God of Israel. Jah- Rastafari!  Happy New Year to you all. Wishing you a successful 2013 as we struggle for the liberation of Liberia from the captivity of impunity.

We Are in a War for Freedom

Fellow Liberian war victims, friends of Liberia, and my Passionate Supporters, may I crystalize in this  medium that   we are at war with incredibly powerful forces. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12, KJV).

Some of the forces are multibillion dollar oil companies, multibillion dollar steel companies, multibillion dollar tire companies, as well as, morally and spiritually bankrupt self-proclaimed men and women of  God like Joe Gbaba  and  his newly found attorney, RW Chea.   We know what they are capable of doing to anyone. They have historically masterminded the downfall of countless true Pan Africanist.

H. E. Dr. Kwame Nkrumah the rightful leader of Ghana, Comrade Patrice Émery Lumumba, first Prime Minister of the Zaire,  Samora Machel leader of FRELIMO and first Prime Minister and President of Mozambique and others  were martyred by forces of  tyrannical, authoritative, autocratic, despotic, dictatorial,  doctrinaire, dogmatic and corrupt  corporate and religious hegemonies.

Hence, my inspiration and faith comes from the work of the above ordained leaders of African origin who set the standard of resistance against extraordinary superior force.  May the souls of all African heros rest in perpetual peace. I am grateful for their adventurous, audacious, courageous, daring, dauntless, defiant, fearless, firm,  gallantry role in the liberation of  the people of African origin.

With that said, the character of Thomas Toteh, Joe Gbaba, RW Chea and others   does represent the character of an Pan Africanist. These men are simply immorally and intellectually bankrupt idiots with no remorse. Gbaba and Chea are diabolically using so-called PhD and fraudulent  religious credentials  to  compensate for  their intellectual  deficiencies.

Knowing what I know now, I would not have ventured on the PhD journey because doctoral degree is only a door opener. Most PhD degree holders in our community are a disgrace. Gbaba, Chea, and Nat are  a classic example.   They lack conviction, they are morally decade!

Unmasking Joe Gbaba, RW Chea, & Thomas Toteh Falsehood & Mischief

With that said, some egotistic, selfish, morally bankrupt, and inherently corrupt men and women of gods with no remorse for the plight of Liberian war victims have elected to covertly campaign against the creation of an Internationally Backed War Crimes Court on Liberia. Unfortunately, most of the low life Liberians in this case did not experience the war physically, mentally, or economically, except for the few dollars they occasionally sent home to their immediate relatives and friends.

They have no record of volunteering for the general good of society. Every institution they have ever worked for has been on the basis of selfish economic gains. They lack any moral fortitude and conviction to take positions on what is right for the general good of society. They only take position on issues that are convenient to their selfish interests. They are fair-weather and chameleons friends whose friendships is based on what they can gain from others  rather than  what others can gain from them.

They are driven by their self-indulgence and love of earthly things. These folks are short sighted and lack no historical understanding of society because they have no conviction. They are spiritually dead and morally decade. They are unable to operate in peace and harmony.  They are inherently corrupt to the core and cannot resist the temptation of corruption and moral decadence. Some claim to be followers of Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, but are actually followers of Satan like Rw Chea and Joe Gbaba.

With that said, Joe Gbaba and RW Chea represent the character eloquently described above.  RW Chea instead of supporting the cause of justice for Liberian war victims, has reduced himself to the position of enablers of accused child molester and perpetrators of the 1990 St. Peter Church Massacre. Chea has desecrated the position of a REV by covertly providing cover for an accused criminal.

I believe Gbaba is capable enough to defend himself. When you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!  I am Doctorroots, The Oracle, The Unconventional!   I have no time to moderate or polish my text in order to appease a generation of fools and hypocrites. God, Jah Rastafari anointed me to weed out falsehood and traitors from the Liberian community in order to prepare the way for the great prosecution through the proposed  war crimes court.

Fellow Liberian war victims and friends of Liberia, it is written in the Holy Scriptures that “by their fruit, ye shall know them (Matthew 7:16).”  When you take a banana from Africa to Europe, it is a banana.  An apple will always bear an apple fruit. For too long pseudo men and women of gods have camouflaged themselves in many shades and have manipulated the process of justice and accountability in Liberia. Praise be to Jah Rastafari for the revelation that today, we can unapologetically denounce, chastise, and publically expose  demons like Gbaba, RW Chea and Toteh in our community.

Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing (Matthew 7:15)

Fellow Liberian War Victims, Friends of Liberia, and Human Rights Defenders around the world:

Gbaba and Rw Chea, had  the audacity to textually assault my person  in a frantic  effort  to divert public  attention from the cardinal questions raised in my previous  email regarding Gbaba’s alleged  immoral and violent  records.

Until Gbaba can provide substantive, conclusive, and logical answers to my questions, I will continue to repost.  Gbaba must know that I am more sophisticated than what he thinks of me.  As one of the victims of the notorious July 1990 St. Peter Church massacre (Reuters, 1990) and a fearless human rights advocate, I will not rest until Gbaba responds to the allegations of child molestation and the Lutheran Church Massacre.

The allegation of Gbaba’s alleged participation in the St. Peter Church Massacre is extremely distasteful to me.  I demand an immediate answer from Gbaba!

Regarding the Photos

Fellow Liberians and Liberian war victims,

I thought Gbaba was sophisticated enough to know that not all pictures speak a thousand words. Some pictures may be manipulated using Photoshop and other photo manipulative software for mischievous purposes.

Hence, I do not know when Gbaba took those photos employed in his diabolical diversionary tactics. I have no recollection of the photos. Do the photos have any time signature or digital foot print to substantiate   the place, date, and time?  Gbaba needs to do a better job next time regarding any digital evidence against the elected one of Jah Rastafari!!

With that said, fellow Liberians and Liberian war victims, the frantic attempts by Gbaba and his newly found lawyer, RW Chea to divert the attention of Liberian masses from the key debate surrounding Gbaba’s alleged involvement in child molestation and war crimes raises more questions about his innocence of those crimes that he is being accused of.  Why is he refusing to answer my questions?   Why is Gbaba attempting to tribalize his immoral behavior?

Hence, if Gbaba wishes to regain my respect and the respect of the Liberian masses, I demand an immediate answer from him within 72 hours otherwise; he will be listed as one of the violent perpetrators of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Liberia. I will also alert the FBI and other federal and state agents about the case of his involvement in the alleged child molestation in Liberia. Gbaba must know that the crime of child molestation is an international crime with no statute of limitation or judiciary boundary!

Below is a Repost of my Questions for Gbaba’s Immediate Response:

  1. Gbaba did you molest any child?
  2. Have you ever been accused of child molestation?
  3. Do you recall any allegation of sexual harassment against you?
  4. Do you know Kehleboe Kongloe?
  5. Do you recall having conversation with Kehleboe Kongloe with reference to any allegation of child molestation?

  14. Are you guilty of war crimes?
  15. Do you support Justice for Liberian War Victims?
  16. Why are you eager to work for someone whom for the last 24 months you have relentlessly attacked and demonized for sponsoring war in Liberia? I am referring to Madam Sirleaf.
  17. Do you believe Madam Sirleaf has more to do with the horrific war in Liberia than what she fraudulently told the United Nations, World Bank, and some of the most powerful feminist activist in the world about her involvement with the Notorious National Patriotic Front of Liberia?
  18. Do you believe Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf  is a fraud who has for decades crafted  a troubling career based on falsehood, manipulation, and the exploitation of feminist sentiments in the western hemisphere in pursuit of her diabolical ambition?
  19. Do you believe Madam Sirleaf is currently ruling on the carcasses of her incalculable victims?
  20. Do you believe Madam Sirleaf and her band of hard core war and economic criminal’s refusal to fully implement the 2003 Comprehensive Peace Accord (CPA) is treason against the Liberian people and Liberian war victims?
  21. Do you believe Madam Sirleaf attempted to divert both the Liberian masses and her international friends attention from the horrific crimes committed by the work of her hands (04/12/ 1980 military coup; 11/ 15/1985 Quowonkpa’s failed invasion (NPFL 1.0), and the Taylor and Ellen barbaric war 12/24/1989-08-18-2003 (NPFL 2.0)) is a treasonous crime against humanity and Liberian war victims?
  22. If your answer is yes to any of the above then, why do you want to work for a government headed by such a wicked and heartless individual?
  23. What are your core values?
  24. What is your core philosophy of life?
  25. Are you a war criminal?
  26. Did you make financial, material, and political contribution to LURD, ULOMO, or MODEL war efforts in Liberia?
  27. Do you know of anyone who may have willfully contributed to ULIMO, LURD or MODEL’s war efforts in Liberia and are currently living in Philadelphia, PA?
  28. Apart from the three being your kinsmen, do you have any other relationship to George Boley, Thomas Y. Nimely, and George Dewh?
  29. If yes, please explain?
  30. Are you a child molester?
  31. Why did you refuse to intellectually and ideologically refute your kinsman, Thomas Tote’s suggestions that George Boley, Thomas Nimely, Alhaji G.V. Kromah, Sekou D. Conneh, Prince Y. Johnson, and A. Dolo AKA General Peanut Butter are Heros of the Krhn, Mandingo, and Gio& Mino tribes respectively?
  32. Are you a tribal fanatic?
  33. Do you know Frayez Massaquoi in Yekepa?
  34. How many children did you molest at CUC, St. Patrick’s High School, UL?
  35. Specifically, do you know any former student who knows you as a child molester?
  36. Are you afraid thy may give testimony against you?
  37. How many children did you molest in Gbarzon District, Konobo District, and Tchien District Grand Gedeh County?
  38. Do you believe in tribal loyalty above national interests and patriotism to Liberia?
  39. What are your values?
  40. Who are your role models?
  41. Do you know of any child molester at Carroll High School in Yekepa?
  42. Where you molested by anyone?
  43. How do you wish to be remembered when your work on earth is done?
  44. How would you describe your legacy?
  45. What made you think that you are a Rabbi?
  46. Who confirms you?
  47. Do you believe in God?
  48. Do you think you will go to heaven when your work on this earth is done?
  49. Why are you so arrogant?
  50. Other than your so-called PhD title, what else do you have to qualify you?

Regarding Thomas’s Toteh Allegation

Fellow Liberian War Victims and Friends of Liberia,

The evil that man does lives after him” (William Shakespeare). I worked with Thomas Toteh intimately on addressing the question of impunity in Liberia.  Toteh and his kinsman Gbaba deceived me  and other human rights activists into believing that  they  support human rights and accountability. Regrettably and sadly, we later found out they  were actually a spy for some of the most violent men and women in Liberia. Thus, The Oracle has no choice but to do what he does best.  As  one of the Liberian war victims, I will not permit any  supporters of  brutes like George Boley, Prince Johnson, etc. to live  peacefully in the United States.

Lackeys of Prince Johnson, George Boley, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf   deserve to burn in hell following their conviction like Charles Taylor. With God’s help, the time is now!

With that said, if you want to self deport like Toteh, then follow his lead!

Using Religion as the Instrument of Mischief in Liberia

The infinite resource in Liberia is churches and mosque but yet, most Liberians including their so-called men and women of gods are extremely evil to the core. When ask, why are some Liberian religious leaders so evil and criminal?  Their feeble and illogical response is “we are living in the last days.”

Such irresponsible, reckless, and unfounded defense in support of cruelty against fellow Liberians only aids and abet impunity.

With that said, Bishop Chea are you a false bishop? Who ordained you as bishop? Did you study philosophy at the theological school? When did you graduate?  How would you differentiate your church from other Liberian churches or denominations? What is the biblical and spiritual dichotomy between your church and other denominations?  How long have you been in the ministry? When did you accept Christ? What is the underpinning foundation of your faith and your church’s articles of faith? How would you describe your personal conviction? How would you describe your personal relationship with Christ, your wife, and congregation?  What ethical believe based on the bible do you profess? Have you cheated on your wife?

Chea must know that the code words he mischievously used in his morally bankrupted email are not words that one can get by me with impunity.   Such reckless and irresponsible defense of lackeys of Gbaba has unfortunately helped to aid and abet perpetrators of violent crimes, as well as, their financial and political patrons in Liberia.  Chea are you an enabler of Gbaba’s alleged crimes?  Do you have any knowledge of Gbaba’s involvement in child molestation in Liberia? Are you a faithful man of God? Are you a fateful husband?  Has your wife accused or ever suspected you of infidelity?  What is the foundation of your Christian faith? Do you believe in Christ Jesus? Are you practicing his will?  Are you a prosperity bishop deceptively extorting money from  people who come to your so-call church? Who are you?

A Call to Action

Therefore, brothers and sisters, there is no time for passivity and laissez-faire tendencies.  The hard truth is that America and its allies will not establish any war crimes court on Liberia in isolation of Liberian war victim’s participation. We must take ownership of the process. We must forcefully demonstrate our urgent desire for justice in Liberia now! We must be assertive in our quest for sustainable peace, justice, and development.

We must ideologically, philosophically, psychologically, and morally attack Ellen AKA Jezebel Sirleaf peace ambassadors and whosoever that  subscribes to their philosophy of peace which  violent perpetrators get away with impunity

Peace and Love

Exposing Traitors and Sympathizers of Perpetrators of War and Economic Criminals in Our Community

Toteh and others,

Thank you for the prompt response. Psychologically, a mentally ill person lives in a delusional world of self-denial.  Your denial is no surprise to me.  Regarding the question of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Liberia, one cannot dismiss the role of foreign state and non-state actors.

  1. State and Non State Actors
  1. State Actors

The conviction of Taylor sets a unique precedence for future prosecution.  State actors such as  Gaddafi  of Libya, Blaise Compaore of Burkina Faso, Lansana Conte  of Guinea,  and Félix Houphouët-Boigny of Ivory Coast will all have to account for their rile on aiding and abetting the NPFL.

  1. Non State Actors

Additionally, multinationals including Oriental Timber Company (OTC) and Firestone will also have to account for their role in aiding and abetting the NPFL. Unsculpus business and religious  men  such as Pat Robertson (Brooks) and Jessie Jackson (WND, 2002) who maliciously aided and abetted the   Americo Liberian  True Whig Party backed Charles Taylor and Ellen Johnson Sirleaf’s notorious  NPFL will also be  held accountable.

African American Leadership  Hypocrisy in Africa: The Case of Liberia

Some African American leaders have  consistently and regrettably aided and abetted gross discrimination, human rights violations, and political disfranchisement in Liberia while hypocritically fighting for   equal rights and justice in America.  Illicitly  using  their connections  and positions both in the democratic and republican caucuses  on capitol hill, these  folks have  consistently   misinformed  the American public on the Liberian crisis  in favor of their business  and political interests in Liberia.

Often,  the interests of their compatriots who were once free slaves in the US.  These folks settled in Liberia and established a Southern Plantation society of slavery characterized by social and political exclusion including  gross human rights violations against the aborigines of Liberia.

Being fully knowledgeable of these gross  human  rights violations and degrading  practices against Liberian aborigines,  Rev. Jessie Jackson, Sr., Congressman Jessie Jackson, Jr., Congressman Chris Smith, and the late Congressman Donald Payne including other African Americans  leaders have  consistently,  shamefully, and hypocritically   adopted a double standard position on Liberia.

In the  text of  the  congratulatory message to Madam Sirleaf  following  the 2011 controversial elections  in which Madam Sirleaf was the only candidate,   Congressman Jessie Jackson Jr. described all those oppose to madam Sirleaf as undermining  the peace and security of Liberia and threatened sanctions.  “The United States will hold accountable any and all political leaders and their supporters seeking to undermine Liberia’s peace and democracy by all means available, including the possible use of multilateral and bilateral sanctions (Jesse L. Jackson, 2011).”

Congressman Chris Smith (R-New Jersey), Chairman of the U.S. House Subcommittee on Africa Global Health and Human Rights along with Congressman Jessie Jackson, Jr.,  following the 2011 illegal elections in Liberia, in my view, without   any formal investigation, warned U.S. sanctions against Liberian opposition leaders (Africa.com, 2011).

The late Congressman Donald Payne was also an ardent supporter of Madam Sirleaf.  Considering the level of violence Madam Sirleaf and cohorts perpetrated against Liberia and the people of Liberia, I find it very difficult to understand why  some African American leaders,  who were subject of social and political exclusion would support such a  Babylonian and inhuman hegemony against weak and defenseless aborigine people of Liberia.

The only credible vehicle for sustainable peace, reconciliation, and justice  in Liberia  is the proposed Internationally Backed War Crimes Court on Liberia. We are aware  that some of the leaders named above are dead, but they acted in their official capacities as Presidents therefore, their respective countries will be held accountable for the destruction of Liberia and they will be made to pay reparation. OTC, Firestone, and other foreign nationals who were engaged in illicit trade and extraction of our natural resources including timber, gold, diamond, rubber, etc shall also be held liable for the destruction of Liberia and be made to pay reparation as well.  The establishment of an Internationally Backed war Crimes Court on Liberia is the  key.

The Irresponsibly Blaming America

For one to  suggest that America is solely responsible for Liberia’s calamity is to say the Federal Government is responsible for the senseless   black-on-black violence taken place across America inner cities. This is the  irresponsible excuse most immature black leaders use to compensate for their gross negligence, thoughtless, unaccountable, untrustworthy, capricious, and carefree tendencies. No one wants to be a man and take responsibility.

If Liberia is to be liberated from the bondage of grotesque impunity, it will require extraordinary action by extraordinary men and women and not immature children who do not take responsibility. The quality of a man is not measured by the size of his endowment or how many women he got pregnant, but by being a responsible father to his children. Providing for his household and training his children to be responsible citizens. That’s what makes a responsible parent. This is largely missing from the black communities in most urban cities. Most black men only know how to get a woman pregnant, but  do not know how to take responsibility for the pregnancy. This is a shameful  and disgraceful tendency in our communities across America.

As a result, we have fatherless babies growing up practically on their own. Their role models and idols are rap artists who were mostly   fatherless as well.  Growing  up in violence and managing somehow to make it to the top echelon of rap music does not qualify one as a good role model.  This is the fundamental problem facing black America. We must now begin to take responsibility and stop blaming the white man for our senseless, irresponsible, and immoral behaviors.

The same goes to African leaders; we must stop blaming America, or imperialism for our gross neglect and failed leadership. We must take responsibility for the failure of Africa in the 21th century. How can you continue to depend on the Western Hemispheres aid in the 21th century when you have almost 60% of the world’s natural resources (oil, diamond, gold, etc)? This is a disgrace! Africans must emancipate their minds from the mentality  of slavery and embrace responsibility and leadership for the development of Africa in the 21st century. Poverty is in the mind, think big (Massaquoi, 2009).

Regarding Taylor’s jail break,  there are countless cases of prison break (Press, 2012) in America. Can one attribute all prison breaks (Dawson, 2011)  to your ill-conceived conspiracy theory that Washington is responsible for some obvious purpose?  Brother Toteh, you know better than that!  Regarding your statement;

“There is nothing you can do about that no matter how many rehabs you take me to; I will not bow down. Oh, you wanted me to be chasing only Liberian suspected war criminals and leave out their American facilitators. If you don’t have the guts to question American warlords, I will stand in the way of your question to Liberian warlords. Remember, every little count. I may be small in your eyes, but I have some courage, very strong, hardworking and willpower. And I/we will win you. I am sorry to disappoint you; I am not your kind of advocate. I care less what you think about me, mentally unstable or whatever. If I was going your way and dancing to the beat of your confused war crimes court drum, you would be celebrating me.”

By taken on the wrong target demonstrates the highest degree of stupidity and ignorance. It brings to question your level of scholarship and understating of the historical and psychological intricacies of the Liberian conflict.   I do not expect you to dance to the beat of my drum but exercise logic and scholarship in your advocacy.

Regarding your much talk about book,  I read your book six months ago during the literature review exercise for my research project. Honesty, I found very little information of relevance to my work. Form an academic and scientific point of view, the book is loaded with baseless and unfounded allegations. You would have done a good job if you had provided references to substantiate the key points you attempted to present.  On the overall,   you made  a good  first attempt, keep it up.

We must take responsibility for the liberation of Liberia. We cannot continue to live in the 20th century mentality in which every ills in Africa  attributed to imperialism. Fortunately, we have had the opportunity to study and work  in the so-called imperialistic society at various levels.  I do not know about you, for me, I have been privileged and blessed to have served on many Boards here in the US and created many organizations. To name a few, I served as the First Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Community Health Center of Richmond. I also served as Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee and Human Resource Committee.  In addition, I serve as Co-Chair of the Human Services Committee, Community Board # 1, and Staten Island. Currently, I am a member of the United Nations Global Compact USA Network.  For my day job, I am business consultant. I work on my own time.  My 24 hour job is the struggle for the transformation of Liberia from the current state of gross impunity characterized by social and political decadence to a state of accountability and the rule of law. The creation of an Internationally Backed War Crimes Court is the central component of my job.

My almost eleven (11)  years  (June 2002- November 2012) in the US has been dedicated to studying and serving humanity.  I need not emphasize on my academic and professional credentials but I must celebrate the blessings God has bestowed on me.  I have been blessed to create my own job and worked at a very high level of the American society. I have gained a deep understanding of how the American society works both at the community level and at higher levels.

Understating America merely from the classroom to working 9-5 jobs to house your family and put bread on the table is not sufficient.  Such experience is a very narrow-minded and restrictive   experience of America. Such is the case with many Liberians who profess to know America. It is not how long you have lived in  America, but what you have done with your life here accounts. How have you contributed to building America? What have you done to elevate the plight of your fellow men? My goal in life is to make  mother earth a little better than I met it.  What is your goal in life?

I encourage all Liberians who are interested in democratizing Liberia to take advantage of the glorious opportunities  in the US and   participate in organizations outside of the Liberian community. Join international groups. Attend your local community council meetings and play a leadership role. That is how you will understand the intricacy of the American democracy. The classroom and 9-5 experience is limited. Make some contribution to the change you aspire to.  Don’t just criticize,   but make an impact! Be a part of the solution!

Intellectually Cheap Argument

While I was about to conclude this note, I came across your email and so in decided to respond in this manner.

1. (a)The first attempt to punish one of the war suspects failed miserably; Ellen Sirleraf is serving two six-year term. Ninety-nine percent of Krahn/Sapo people will not cooperate with anybody who is seeking the prosecution of their heroes, George Boley et al. The wise know the implication.

Response:  You do not  speak for the Sapo/Krahn people. Boley  and Krhan Warlords are not the heroes of Grand Gedeh County. The  barbaric and inhuman conduct  of their wars bring shame and disgrace to the people of Grand Gedeh county. I have several Krhan nephews  and nieces. My village  less than 4 miles from lower Nimba. My sisters and brothers married from the Krhan  tribe.  Your illusion that Boley and other notorious war criminals represent the Krhan is false and self-serving. How did you arrive at your conclusion? Did you conduct an empirical research or anecdote research ? What type of research method for example, Quasi-Experiments, True Experiments, Correlational  or  Observational research, etc.? Which one? Which  research design?  Quantitative  and  Qualitative? Which one?

2. Ninety-nine percent of Gio and Mano people will not dance to the drum beaten by people who want to prosecute their heroes, Prince Johnson et al. Prince Johnson took third place in the presidential election. That how popular he is with his people. The wise know the implication.

Response: I am a native Gio boy from Zoe Geah District where Prince Johnson hill from. I shared  family ties with more than 20 former NPFL special forces. Including the late General verney who was Prince immediate partner in the INPFL.  I lost more than 10  immediate members of my family  on the battle field prosecuting Ellen and Taylor’s immoral war.  Do you know how many Gio and Mino’s Prince Johnson brutally murdered?  Do  you think Prince John represents the interests of Nimba county?  Many citizens of Nimba view Prince Johnson as a violent  brute who seek after his personal economic and political interests.  Your  delusional  and self-serving view that Prince John is the hero of Nimba is false and misleading. You don’t know anything about Nimba  and therefore  have no credibility on the psychological  and political disposition of Nimba citizens.

3. Ninety-nine percent of Mandingo people will not clap for people who want to prosecute their messiahs, Kromah, Conneh et al. The wise know the implication.

4. Liberians are tired of paying debt (1980 to 1989 or on and one we go). They want to let bygones be bygones and move on with their lives uninterrupted by some group of attention seekers.

Response: The Mandingos I know and lived with in Nimba are better than Kromah and Conneh. These men and their allies  are nothing but common war and economic criminals.

5. It costs UN millions of dollars and years to prosecute one warlord. Liberians don’t have money to try  suspected war criminals. It would take millions of dollars just to gather evidence and millions of dollars and years to establish and prosecute cases against more than 10 suspected war criminals. A lot of other legal procedures are involved that most or all war crimes court advocates out there don’t know.

Response: What do you know about the UN protocol?  Have you participated in any UN forums, have you been involve any UN sub-organizations such as UNISECO, etc?  Do you know how the special court in Sierra Leone was created and  funded? Have you read the Agreement for and Statute of the Special Court for Sierra Leone, 16 January 2002

6. Those who are calling for the prosecution of war a crimes court in Liberia have no spine to question some of the major victimizers of Liberians. This means Liberians will not allow to be used by cowards to sow seed of another discord in Liberia.

Response: What  do you mean about mean victimizers? Please explain.

7. War Crimes court is not one of Liberians’ basic needs after war. Liberians’ basic needs include food, health, shelter, and social needs include interpersonal connectedness and love, education, employment, physical and intellectual ability and so forth.

Response: Who determines Liberia basic needs? You or the war and economic currently ruling Liberia like an abused bartered child?

8. Liberians would prefer economic crimes court to war crimes court.

Response: You do not speak for all Liberians but  rather  the few brutes who willfully elected to murder and plunder Liberia.

9. The establishment of a war crimes court in Liberia has less or no impact on the fight against corruption in Liberia. The establishment of a war crimes court will not put food on ordinary Liberians’ tables.

Response: The Problem of Liberia is not corruption but impunity.

10. And last but not the least, Liberians need people who will reconcile them without pointing finger. Liberians need people who will go from county to county, city to city, town to town and village to village spreading the message of reconciliation through series of festivities including

inter soccer games and etc.

Response:  There can be no peace and reconciliation without   accountability on the part of perpetrators and justice for victims.

Cowardly Tendency

Toteh,  you willingly attended all LIJ’s  formative meetings and participated in the drafting of some of our documents. Why didn’t you express your opposition to war crimes court. Why now? Why the sudden conversion? Did money change hands?   Are you an agent of Boley or Ellen? Why are you afraid of  the establishment of war crimes court on Liberia?

The above reasons you provide is inclusive,  insufficient,  nonsensical, lacks moral and intellectual basis   and does not compensate for the  incalculable loss of lives and properties in Liberia. Do you have other logical and conclusive  reasons for rejecting  the establishment of an International Backed War Crimes  Court on Liberia? Do you rather maintain the current status quo of gross  impunity and human rights violation? Or do you rather have well documented war and economic criminals run Liberia  with impunity ?  You are a traitor.  Thank God for exposing you at this early stage of our struggle.

Call to Action

If anyone believes America is responsible for the calamities in Liberia, than I urge you to join us in the struggle for the establishment of an Internationally Backed War Crimes Court so that you can bring charges against whatever American government agencies, officials, businesses, and private citizens. But don’t undermine the struggle for the creation of an Internationally Backed War Crimes Court on Liberia. By doing so would suggest you support  Ellen and her thugs who are currently ruling Liberia like an abused bastard child.    The Court would provide an opportunity for everyone to litigate their guilt or innocence.  Will you join the struggle for the creation of an Internationally Backed War Crimes Court on Liberia?

I encourage  you to take responsible and stop baselessly blaming America.  Let  it be  known  to all those who continue to irresponsibly and recklessly blame America for Liberia’s self-destructive war that Liberian war victims who have been graciously blessed by America will no longer allow such an ungrateful and self-serving stupidity to continue with impunity.  We will hold you accountable in the court of law to produce whatever evidence so that we can use those evidences in future litigation.  We will no longer allow anyone to confuse the Liberian masses with irresponsible and baseless statements purely designed to support and legitimize people who have committed well documented war and economic crimes against Liberia and the people of Liberia.

As a war victim, I consider the question of accountability for Liberian war victims very personal. I have put everything on hold (marriage, family, pleasure, etc.)   for this cause. This is not about politics, but the lives of thousands of innocent men and women killed in cold blood by those brutes who are currently ruling Liberia like an abuse bastard child. We will not allow anyone to live amongst us why supporting perpetrators who cause incalculable psychological and mental trauma for thousands of Liberian war victims here in the US.  Your days of impunity in the diaspora are numbered!

You are either for justice and accountability for Liberian war victims or a supporter of impunity in Liberia. 2013 will be a defining moment for the struggle for the liberation of Liberia from the satanic culture of impunity. If you are a supporter of impunity in Liberia then we have an intellectual, philosophical, psychological, economic, and legal battle on hand. Be preparing for the battle in 2013.

We look forward to the challenge.
